ATL to RVA
Atlanta is the hometown of two of Richmond's most impactful athletes of the last ten years; Kevin Anderson and Eric Ward. Atlanta is also home to Richmond verbal Ben Page. Page, a 6'3 223 lbs. WDE for Marist HS is still coming into his own. He lived in the weightroom this summer and added 30lbs. to his frame and is playing the best football of his career. Check out his senior season highlights thus far.
Page was recruited by Coach Sintim and like so many others, "picked Richmond because of exceptional academics along with a great football program." Page visited a one-day camp this Summer, left with an offer and joined the 2017 recruiting class shortly thereafter, informing Coach Rocco and staff that he would become a Spider on July 16. Page was also being recruited by Boston College prior to pulling the trigger and electing to don the Red & Blue. Page and his family were at the Towson game and had rave reviews of the campus and gameday atmosphere.
Page, who was recruited as an outside lineback / bandit, is only focused on the next game ahead of him. He only wants to see "our team as a whole to play ever game to our maximum capability and see where it takes us." When asked if there was anything else that SpiderNation should know about him, he preferred to let his game to the talking for him. "Nope just can't wait to show people what I'm about, and win championships!"
